palak paneer



Ingredients:

  • palak (spinach) – 1 bunch, cleaned, washed, chopped
  • paneer – 200 gms, finely chopped and fried lightly
  • tomatoes – 250 gms, chopped
  • onions – 250 gms, chopped
  • green chillies – 2, chopped
  • cloves – 2
  • cardamoms – 4
  • red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • butter – 1 tsp
  • curd – 1 tsp
  • oil – 100 ml
  • salt as per taste

Method:

heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. sauté the spinach for a minute and remove. grind the onions, tomatoes, green chillies, cardamoms and cloves with salt to a smooth paste. transfer to a pan and place over medium flame. stir and cook for a minute or two. grind the spinach and add to the pan. now add the fried paneer pieces and cook for 5 minutes. add butter and curd. stir well and remove
